[ All viewers who are taking a very close look at Dr Lamb's left hand today may spot the edge of the dressing on her arm. This is merely the measure taken against a minor burn injury and definitely not the beginning of a number of unpleasant long-term effects from something very stupid she did about three months ago ( Read more... )

Where do you plan to open these facilities? Tam-sensei's clinic?

[ She nods. ]

I have been maintaining his clinic since he left.

Good. I'll bring those I discipline there, in that case.

[ Wow. Now that is the true spirit of community. 8| ]

I appreciate your offer, Hibari, but...

Would you perhaps consider bringing those you are in conflict with to my psychiatric office instead? I believe we could find a way to resolve such situations without injury.

[ Alex doesn't doubt that she's talking about Markus' little stabbing spree. His mouth is narrowed as he wills himself not to look freaked out.

But what's this? A chance to help Sofia out and feel like he has something to offer the world? ]

I can help. ...I'm not exactly busy.

[ Make the most of your reply, because you've got about one tag left before he spots the dressing. ]

[ That burn wound? It had her slightly preoccupied during the actual stabbings, leaving the victims sadly deprived of her caring assistance and loving cross-examination.

Still, she did put two and two together belatedly and does have a very likely suspect now, although she has currently no intention of discussing him without being prompted. ]

Thank you, Alex.

I will contact you again as soon as I know how many others may be helping.

Right.

[ He opens his mouth to ask how many needed helping - that is, how many people Markus hurt. Then as subtly foreshadowed he spots the dressing on his friend's arm. And makes an angry assumption. ]

--He went after you?

[ The rampage has made him feel a lot of things towards Markus: anger, betrayal, fear both of him and on his behalf. But in this second, he just wants to deck the guy. ]

[ He? At least that clarifies that Alex has probably (at the very least) come to the same conclusion about the culprit. Though why he'd assume that she was attacked as well... I mean, beyond his tendency to assume the worst... will remain a mystery to Lamb for a few more moments.

She shakes her head. ]

He did not. I only know about the injured people on the network. Why would you think--

[ Following his gaze... following his gaze... following his-- ah, there we go. Oh. That. ]

The arm?

I can heal people. Well, some things.

echo_of_utopia February 5 2011, 23:12:26 UTC
Can you elaborate?

[ That does sound like good news, don't get her wrong, but heal people doesn't sound like your traditional medical training to her.

And despite the amount of time she's spent here Lamb has virtually had no contact at all with healing methods outside of her traditional medicine (and its Tam-esque future version). ]

I have sun flames. They activate cells so they multiply faster and fix themselves faster, so it makes wounds heal.

Some wounds. Not all kinds.

I have never heard of anything like that, but I must say it sounds quite helpful.

Would you be willing to tell me more about its limitations, perhaps offer a demonstration if that is at all possible?

I can use magic to heal.

echo_of_utopia February 7 2011, 00:11:43 UTC
Magic. [ She smiles. ] The concept still rings surrealistic to me, even after so many months in Wonderland.

But to have this option available would be most useful to the people here. Could you perhaps tell me a little more about your skills?

I can do most moderate healing requirements, suchs as broken bones or cuts, and at least help with major injuries. Diseases and poisons usually take more time.

echo_of_utopia February 7 2011, 17:30:56 UTC
That is quite remarkable.

Would you consider assisting me with your abilities at the clinic?

I'm afraid I don't have any sort of healing powers available but I'll help in any way I can, Lamb-san. Where is your clinic going to be set up?

Thank you, Ryoko. I appreciate your help.

I have taken over the clinic Dr Tam set up in room number ten on the fourth floor.

Ah, that's close to where I'm living. Just let me know when you need assistance and I'll be more than happy to help, Lamb-san~

Thank you again, Ryoko.
