What a nice change from the norm.
I had such a remarkably fulfilling and fun day today. It was so very nice, a total departure from the norm.
I slept pretty okay. That's the first major difference. Lazed around for a few hours, and then Komotose pokes me and wants to hang out, so I go hang out with her for a while, meeting up with Ix and Aether at the DIA. We run through that pretty quickly, Aether takes Ix's car home, So I end up having to drive him back.
After I drop off Ix, Komo and I go into Ferndale, have a beer and a couple tacos, just chilling and talking about all the stupid stuff going on in the community. Then take her home.
Meet up with a couple friends from high school (Mitch and his fiancé)and have a fantastic Korean dinner, and just shoot the shit for a few hours like we used to, in that restaurant
Then came home.
So simple, isn't it?
But it was the first day in a very long time where nothing bad happened. No random arguments. No emotional collapses. Hell, I didn't even see or hear from my parents until about 23:00, so I didn't have to deal with their bullshit.
The whole day was just...overwhelmingly good.
..Oh, and the letter from my college I got today saying I'm on the Dean's List is pretty fantastic too :3
