Hey beloved readers! I got pictures and Hubby got video of the blizzard that hit, so I figured I'd upload everything and let you all see what happened in Ulysses, KS :P We never lost power or anything!

We ended up with 19 inches of snow over a 24 hour period (give or take a little), some of which drifted to 3 feet or more!

Well it's still comin' down.  They just closed the last road in or out of town about 30 or 45 minutes ago.  And it's still coming down.  We still have power, as you might have guessed.  Hubby and I have been getting pics and video from time to time, so I'll be sure to upload those eventually ( Read more... )

I got to go 4-wheeling with Hubby and one of his co-workers, a hilariously fun lady named Ethel.  She has a couple 4-wheelers.  One is a 1987 Yamaha (the first ones ever made--before even Honda!) and the other a newer Polaris Rzr (with passenger seat and "roll cage").  She called Hubby late in the morning and asked if we wanted to go ( Read more... )
