Nothing remotely interesting has happened, but I've been absent for a while.  Bio channel has been showing stuff about William Shatner and Startrek all afternoon which has been pretty interesting.  I love it when all the TV moguls are wrong and a cancelled show takes on a huge life of it's own that lasts over 40 years.

Today I saw Notes on a Scandal.   It goes without saying that Judi Dench was spectacular.  I've never seen her do a really evil character, so this was a first.  But the best part for me was an explosive performance by Bill Nighy.   Lately I've mostly seen him in heavy make-up (PotC) or odball parts, but this was wicked serious.   Loved the film for ( Read more... )
