He WON.  Rockers never win.  I'm amazed.  Actually I don't think anyone was more amazed than David Cook.  And he sang with ZZ Top!  Of course one of the high points was Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. as Gladys Knight's Pips.  Yeah, I usually don't care about AI, but I do like DC.

OK, American Idol scared me tonight.  I actually felt sorry for Simon about 68% of the time.  Even Randy was cranky.  But then if I had to sit through 2 days of the carnage they witnessed I'd be in a pissy mood too.  Is there no pre-screening to weed out the really disturbing ones before they get to Randy, Paula and Simon?  Do some of these people ( Read more... )
