October. I wait all year for this. Cool dry weather. No fuzzy hair. No soggy sneakers. And old horror movies on TV. I bet I've seen 6 zombie movies this week. And all those shlocky Vincent Price/Edgar Allen Poe movies. I love October.
I finally saw Michael Clayton. I've probably seen over 40 films this year and while I've liked a lot of them, this is the only one that really stands out. It's confusing at the start but it unfolds quickly and at the end the takedown is splendid. Based on Good Night and Good Luck, Syriana, and Michael Clayton, I'd say George Clooney is one of my favorite producers right now. IDM, I think you'll like this one.
My friend finally sold his house and bought another within a week. Next week starts with 2 closings and a move. Looking forward to having this behind us. Considering the fact that the real estate market has tanked accross so much of the U.S. it was miracle that his house sold in 3 months.
OK, so I know the entire world is rooting for the Rockies, but I still like Boston. Yeah I'm a turncoat. I have a sinking feeling that once we get Coors Field they're gonna get even. I don't trust 'em.
Bees. How utterly perfect. It's so X File-y. I'd forgotten we were getting a rerun this week but it was Ending Happy, which makes me laugh every time because Brass rocked that 44 minutes.
Heh. Now we're on to Grave Robbers from Outer Space.
