uh, no. actually, i just wanted to make young girls cry.
i had a dream last night where i opened the back door to find a dozen little shih tzus and ten purple cats with diamond collars. somehow this involved me washing sheets and rearranging furniture. idk, kids.
yesterday, i took vinni the wonder dog to lake katherine. it's kind of a long drive but once we got there, he was just fine. we walked a quarter of the trail and spent some time sitting on the benches watching geese with their goslings. i took a lot of pictures, but i'm so lazy these days about downloading anything from my digital camera and uploading it to flickr. i haven't even put up the pictures from seattle yet. i do need to go through this camera and my parents' though because there's a picture i want to submit in the world in focus contest.
so i still haven't heard about the promotion. j did email me to tell me we'd talk about it when he gets back from vacation though. it's been kind of nerve-wracking waiting and i just want it to be over already.
tomorrow i'm going to the taste of chicago, which should be awesome. the weather is supposed to be nice too so maybe i won't fry like last year.
it's been a beautiful day today. i went trail riding with my parents and managed to make it up all the hills although i thought i was going to die afterward. this probably has to do with the fact that i've gone from going to the gym four days a week to like maybe one day a week. need to get back into the habit.
we're getting new carpet installed on wednesday so time to pack up yet another room in the house. yay. or not.
