Monday mornings are nice and gentle because they start with Alexander Technique (lol....pulled a muscle during love-making at the weekend but said to Man, "Well, Alexander Tech will sort it out" and he said, "You could argue that Alexander was the cause" ahahaha) Weekend was just lovely all round. He went to see Habit of Art at the National, loved it, and then we both went to see Every Good Boy Deserves Favour there too, which was well-acted if a bit heavy on the orchestra. Stoppard wrote it arbitrarily to include an orchestra so it was a tad thin on plot. Followed by trawling the National shop for playscripts, and dinner at Pizza Express. He caught me round the waist at one point in the shop, kissed my hair and said, "Do love you, Bumble."
Had to learn a Henry V speech this weekend, which I've done half of frustratingly. But also, in Week 8 we have a thing called Verse and Song, the first thign we really 'present' at RADA, where we sing a song and recite a poem for everyone. Went off for an hour or so to Waterstones and came up with some gorgeous stuff.
'Angels over Elsinore' by Clive James and
'Stage Love' &
'Erotion' by Swinburne, the latter basically articulating every insecurity I have about being with Alex.
We ate at Guzels, our breakfast place and watched episodes of Wallander, haha, the sobbing Swede. And we were all curled up on the sofa and I got to keep him till 9. There's a Philip Ridley quote from his play 'Mercury Fur': "I love you so much I could burst into flames." That's exactly how it is.
