bored at work....
I'm bored at work so I figured I'd update. I'll pretty much be here for the next several hours without anything to do since everyone is at a meeting. Oh well, it means I'm getting paid to get on the Internet, probably chat with people on AIM, and to get some homework done. I should really start that 7-10 page paper on the Mexican drug trade that's due tomorrow. I'll get to it eventually. The plan is to definitely get some of it written while I'm here at work. I might as well be productive for some of the time that I'm here. I figure I can do homework and get paid for it if they don't have any other work for me to do.
On another note, I'll be so happy when this semester is over with. Finals won't even matter because they'll be relatively easy, it's the stuff I have to do between now and the last day of class that's stressing me out. I have my Mexican history paper due tomorrow, a 7-8 page lit paper due next Thursday, 2 lessons to teach, and a big online portfolio due. The last one is what really worries me. Plus, I'll have to make the final edits on my thesis when I get it back from my professor. Oh well, I know that I'll make it through everything even if that means I'll be constantly stressing for the next couple weeks. It's weird to think that this is my last semester living in the Ypsi/Ann Arbor area. Heidi and I move home for good on May 1st. She'll be graduated by then which is really strange to think about. That won't happen for me until December but it's still pretty close. I'd really like to get my student teaching placement so that I don't have to worry about that at all. That will definitely be a weight off my shoulders once I find out where I'm going to be at. I'm hoping to hear by the end of May because the longer it takes the more worried I'll get. Oh well, at this point it's out of my hands.
