One more day.....
It's almost over. I handed in my online portfolio yesterday and the final copy of my thesis earlier today. All that's left of this semester is an in-class lit exam at 11:30 tomorrow and my take-home Mexican history final which is due at 5:30 tomorrow evening. That's only 2 short essays so I'm not too worried. I'm definitely ready to be done. 2 classes and student teaching are all that stand between me and graduation. I'm taking an online history course this spring and then a week-long course in Traverse City in June. I don't think either will be that bad but I'll have to make sure that I do the work for my online class. After tomorrow I'll be in Ypsi/Ann Arbor for another week working and packing stuff up. We didn't figure there was any reason to go home before Heidi graduates and that works out b/c I'll get almost a full week of work in on campus which will mean one more nice paycheck from campus.
It's strange to think that I'll be leaving Ypsi/Ann Arbor for good in just over a week. It will definitely be weird when September rolls around and I don't move back out this way. I don't mind living at home but it will take some getting used to again. I'm used to be there over the summer but Dad and I are on different schedules so we don't necessarily see each other too often during the summer months. Once next school year starts I'll see him every night when either he gets off from work or I get home from school. That will be nice but having to check in with someone will definitely take some getting used to. I'm sure it will be fine though. I'm still waiting to hear where I'll be student teaching. I'm not getting worried yet because most of my friends are still waiting for their placements as well. I'm hoping for Clarkston so we'll see what happens.
Guess that's about all for now. I have some work I should do.
