today the first bluebells are properly in flower *smile*

and for the past week there has been a (number of) peacock butterfly(s) in the garden *beam*

all this and more *smile*

... including wasps waking from hibernation in the house - i've had to escort 3 to the nearest exits in the past week.

i've heard radio news reports of a long-billed murrulet in devon, a red-rumped swallow (eaten by a hawk *chuckles*) in scotland, and vultures over richmond park, london in the past week/so... tis the season of bird migration *smiles ( Read more... )
