i've been interested by retablo/milagro votive paintings for some time now. i like the stories they tell, and the link between human and deity/saint/angel/superhuman they make... and the potential for being part of that link as artist ( Read more... )

we started making a mosaic, here in the garden, at midsummer... but ran out of tessarae[0]. so the midsummer mosaic becomes us/me being mid, summer mosaic... and it becomes an ongoing summer project for a while yet. if you have pieces that you want to contribute, and/or want to place some, get them/yourself(s) over here *smile*
