It was a blast, as expected! The show was amazing, especially Cirque Berzerk and the dance troupe (can't remember their name). The Edward Gorey stories were hilarious, although they could have used a bit more training for the narrators. Oops, I never wrote about my sister's concert. It went really, really well. Beautiful performances of some staggeringly difficult 20th and 21st century music. Especially Webern. Wow. Her boyfriend did a jazzy arrangement of some Pärt, which worked surprisingly well. Very impressive.

I needed to spend today lying in bed or on the couch, resting up and getting better. But apparently my obsession with the bodice I'm making won.
I got a lot done on it! And I'm feeling a fair bit better... it's the BART ride that usually kills me, I think. Still should have slept more. Oh well.

Last week was just ridiculously long. I blame it on the interaction of cloudy morning weather and having to spend all my time making charts. I was pretty productive, though, so not too bad. The Gaskell was huge wind turbines worth of fun. My dress worked. It didn't try very hard at all to fall apart. I think I did nail someone with my fan, but as nobody called the ambulances it can't have been too bad.
