4:30 moon

Pete’s new job is working out very nicely. He comes home tired, but I can notice such a difference in his mental attitude. He feels needed and productive . . . just like old times. He likes everyone he works with and they all like him, too. His boss asked him if he minded working more hours for awhile, so it is kind of like full time for now.

It was a busy day for me yesterday and I didn’t get to walk in the morning, but went for a quick one at the park about 4:30. There’s a Chorisia speciosa (Floss Silk Tree) tree (that’s the one with the big thorns on the trunk) down there that they have hung some big Christmas balls on. As I was looking up at it, I saw the moon bright in the blue sky through its branches.
