Mow Down Pollution
Greenville County has an air quality program. I have one of the "Spare the Air" t-shirts that I got the Earth Day event at the library. The Upstate Forever newsletter had a blurb about a lawnmower exchange event next weekend. I emailed the contct person for a link or more info. It turns out there is a Care Care Clinic and Lawnmower Exchange on April 26th. Unfortunately, it is for Greenville County residents only. Bummer!
But it does give me the idea of looking into an electric mower as one of the big green steps for this year. We still have the reel mower my parents gave me. It didn't work on the grass in TR. I wonder if it would work in our current yard. It might work on the grass between the drive and the shop. I'll have to give it a try.
