The fog comes on little cat feet

This morning I awoke to a world shrouded in grey. I decided to take the slightly longer way to work that goes on the four-lane highway for more of the trip than my usual way. The fog was quite heavy but not so bad as to obsure the vehicle in front of me. I am always surprised by the people who fail to turn on their headlights in the fog. I guess they assume that they can see without their lights on and don't take the extra step to think that perhaps other people could see them better with their lights on. Especially those grey cars!

Anyway, my trip was uneventful and I even arrived on time. I love fog because it mutes everything. I just don't like driving it in.
