My Curse
It seems that just as I'm beginning to get close to a person here at KU they decide to stop going. I want them to be happy and if that means going to a different school, one that is closer to home, then that's what they should do but at the same time I can't help but mourn the loss of yet another person to go to class with, to sit next to, to eat meals with, to study with. I know I'm being selfish but isn't it natural to want to have friends? Last year it was Brie who went back to Montana. This year it is Molly and Mariah who both left this week to return home (and to think it is only Tuesday). I guess I'm cursed... so beware, don't get too close to me if you want to stay at KU very long.
