Plic and Ploc's Fabulous Adventure

Well, Plic and Ploc, my two goldfish, and I arrived home on Thursday night. I wasn't planning on taking them home. I was going to have Katie take care of them while I was home but Ploc got Ich (mostly like Plic had it too) and the treatment involves water changes everyday and medicating them in addition to feeding them twice a day. In short I didn't feel that dumping that on her was fair. So on Wednesday, I went to Petco to find a transporting container because I can't lift their tank. But when I explained what I needed to do the clerk ask me if I had a bucket and when I said yes he sold me a battery operated filter. So Plic and Ploc traveled in a bucket in my passenger seat. There wasn't much sloshing except when I had to come to a fast stop. They seemed to take it fairly well. When I got home the first thing I did was set up their tank. It is in the bathroom because there really isn't any other convenient place but it looks nice and it makes water changes really easy.

Friday, I did all of my shopping in under two hours and then hung out with Abby. We just talked and went to Borders for much of the afternoon. It was great to catch up with her. It had been way to long. In the evening we watched Princess Diaries 2. It was super cute and it was wonderful to be with someone who doesn't mind me making side comments during the film. ::grins::

Today I went to an archery program at Busch Wildlife with my parents. It was lots of fun but really makes me want a bow. I might look into get one. After archery we went to get the Christmas tree. It was lots of fun but didn't take nearly as long as I remember when I was little. I even carried the tree to the car. Dad's back was hurting and I'm super strong like that. Well, it is now time for dinner and I prolly should stop usurping someone else's wireless internet connection. I'm currently installing in my kitchen connected to some household's wireless. Hehe. Hope things are going well. Feel free to call my cell whenever. Love ya!
