Well, I thought it might be about time for an update in the world of Erica. I have now had all of my classes at least once except for Organic Lab which starts next week so here is the recap of my classes:
Honors Organic Lecture - I *heart* Dr. Givens. I am going to adopt him as my grandfather. He is too cute! I had him last semester and he made me feel great about being in his class. He and I are buddies. In fact he is one of the two professors I want to introduce to my parents.
French Literature - I love this professor. The class is going to be difficult but the professor is awesome. He is American but he gestures in the French way, speaks with a perfect accent and is funny. Does it get better?
Physics Lecture - Hmmm. Boring is the best way to describe this class. I hope he doesn't think he is *teaching* this class because I've been helping the people seated next to me and they sure aren’t getting what he says.
Organic Lab Lecture - The professor seems cool and he has Sprint (Sprint-to-Sprint minutes). He likes to wander while he lectures and he wandered right up to my row and stood in front of me for 10 minutes which was awkward. He was a bit too close for comfort... like one-more-step-and-he-would-have-knocked-over-my-coffee-cup close.
University Scholars Seminar on Friendship - The class is as pretentious as the name indicates. It is three hours long and filled with obnoxious people who feel that they get points for every letter of a word they use; therefore they feel the need to use longer words, even if they don't know their full definition. It is funny how when I walk into a room full of people who are theoretically my intellectual equals I feel stupid. Now, if it were biology rather than Plato I might feel more at ease. Whatever, I keep telling myself that it will help me prepare for the MCAT, I'm just waiting to start believing.
