Sita Sings the Blues is a charming, pretty, delightful, fun, animated version of the ancient Indian epic tale of Ramayana, about Rama's wife Sita, and the trials she go through - and set to 1920's jazz songs by Annette Hanshaw. I've just been watching Blade Runner. This time what I notice is the detail, and especially the colours. I saw Blade Runner in the cinema last Tuesday (the digitally restored final "Final Cut"). I almost never got to see it, because I only noticed on the last day, of only two, that it was showing - but I just made it.
