Mike Duffy spent decades and decades in journalism with CTV, and relatively recently was given a Senate appointment, where he sits, as a partisan Conservative. On Saturday he gave a speech in Amherst, NS, to other Conservative partisans criticizing Canada's journalism schools for turning out a steady stream of lefty graduates.

One other little thing that's upsetting about the media coverage of the war: in the little title screens that they run at the top of the hour, or whatever, instead of showing explosions, and guns firing among bright colours and and words like, "Ultimatum: Iraq", or "On the brink of war", why don't they instead show piles of dead bodies ( Read more... )
