Does anyone know what the deal is with this song? Was War (the band) a one-hit wonder? Did they only exist for this song?
We had parties at work yesterday. One that was a belated-Josh-birthday party, at which Nancy served key lime pie. Awesome. It was really good.
The second was with people from the Link, and certain other university bodies, to celebrate the finishing of the database. We had old cheese (but it was actually pretty good), and Hungarian champagne (which was good, and pretty cheap). They sell it at the Faubourg. I may go and pick some up.
I was mentioned in a letter to the editor of the Link this week. I'll get to enter my name into the database, as a keyword, I guess. It was thanks to that whole ugly business with the Jewish/Muslim dispute, and my role in it the other day.
Sorry this is boring. I'm a boring guy right now. Not that I mind that a whole lot. Apparently, I'm the envy of at least one of my friends in that way, anyway. It's always nice to be envied.
