I ended up going to an advance screening of the OOTP tonight. I have to say that I loved it. I loved the way the director interpreted the book into film form, and I was impressed. I won't say more, as I do not want to risk spoiling anything for anyone.

I saw Transformers tonight at a pre-release screening. I went in not expecting too much. I figured that it would either suck hard, or be really kick ass. I am glad to say, that it really kicked ass. The cgi was all well done and the movie had a good mix of story and visuals. I was not disappointed in the least, and will probably go and see it again ( Read more... )

I have to say that 300 by far was one of the best movies that I have seen in the past few years. I saw it on IMAX today and I was simply in awe. I won't give details as I don't want to ruin the movie for anyone, but I will say this. Go see 300. See it in IMAX if possible ( Read more... )

Well on Saturday Tech helped me install new front brakes and rotors on Scarlet. During this process he noticed that I had the wrong type of jack included with my car. I didn't think that much about it until today when I got a flat tire and realized that I probably shouldn't try to change my tire with a jack that wasn't made to lift my car. I am ( Read more... )

Well I went and saw King Kong the other night, and here are my thoughts. The movie had name recognition in terms of Peter Jackson and Jack Black. I was surprised that Jack Black's character was done rather well in my opinion. The visuals of the movie were great, but I think that Peter Jackson has a love with long movies. Last night I went and saw Redeye with swishnflick, her new roommate and eydria_snow. I thought that the movie was pretty good, but very predictable. It has a rather slow beginning and middle for my tastes, but swishnflick and eydria_snow seemed to like it more than me. It is not one that I would go and see in a theater again, but I didn't think that it was a waste of money.
