Sonic Pockets
Clothears Costumes' fourth doctor coat features an inner lapel pocket for the Sonic Screwdriver (http://www.clothearscostumes.com/galleries/4dr/).
i LOVE this idea!! i don't know for sure if Four did this, but i do remember Ten reaching for his Sonic in this area of his coat and perhaps Eleven as well.
i want to incorporate this into my Eighth Doctor coats, so i was wondering if anyone was familiar with the Clothears pocket and how one might go about constructing it? beyond it being a standard double welt pocket the depth of the main shaft of the Sonic (6 inches in this case), i'm mostly wondering if the pocket should stand vertically or follow the roll-line of the lapel so the bulk of the sonic remains concealed behind the lapel, etc...
