New Eighth Doctor Costume... or, maybe not
in october 2010, at the Armageddon Expo in new zealand, paul mcgann revealed the "unofficial" new costume and sonic screwdriver of the eighth doctor(with the caveat that the costume remained a work in progress)...
supposedly, the BBC had given it's blessing for the new look and there was some speculation at the time that it might be used for the packaging illustrations for McGann's ongoing series of audio adventures by 'big finish'.
personally, i never warmed up to the new coat or sonic, so it was just as well when i noticed that a year later, 'big finish' still features Eight in his TVM costume on the covers to their october, november and december 2011 releases:
