Blue Moon in Manila

A week ago, Blue Moon rose in Manila when CNBlue had their concert. And I have only this to say: I'M GLAD I WENT TO WATCH THEIR CONCERT.

The concert was definitely one exhilarating experience, at least for me.

Now I have to admit that I'm not a fan of Yonghwa as an actor. He's just so-so for me. But as a guest in variety shows, I find him watchable. And yes, I love their songs, too.

And I have a bias for Jonghyun and his soulful voice, and his quiet demeanor. And now that I've seen it up close (or as close as the screens during the concert would let me), I also have to admit I was bowled over by his mad skillz with the guitar.

Some pix from the event. (These are the times I wished I own a DLSR. Good thing these concerts don't happen every month. LOL!)

And this deserves a shot.

Yonghwa made a boo-boo in the con. During the latter part of the concert, he was crooning real soulfully to the mic, singing sweet things to the audience.

"We love you~~~~"

"We thank you~~~~"

"Singapore~~~~~"

(I was like.... what did he just sing?"

".....I mean, Philippines~~~~~"

(refer to first photo below)

"Mistaaaaake~~~~~" (sung in a higher note)

(refer to second photo)

"Sorry......!" (while laughing in embarassment)

Oh, BOY. Good thing Pinoy audiences are so forgiving. Haha!

Another fun part was when they came out for the second set. Before the concert began, some organizers went around giving instructions that some signs be lifted once a signal was given. Yonghwa's birthday was coming up so the audience was supposed to greet him. All throughout, we were waiting on what "signs" were supposed to be followed.

And then the second set came on. The boys are onstage....

And then....

Minhyuk stood up, started reading something.... IN VERY GOOD FILIPINO, I must say. Something along the lines of, "Someone is going to be celebrating his special day, and we would like you to help us greet him.")

Jungshin's turn, he was also reading something in Filipino, something like, "Join us in singing to him, blah blah~"

Jonghyun got the easiest task, encouraging us to sing altogether. The way he said "SABAY-SABAY!" was sooo adorable.

And while the three were delivering their lines, Yonghwa was spinning around, looking at them with a "What on earth is happening, what are my members saying?" look on his face.

And, then, of course, the whole Coliseum sang Happy Birthday. :)

I think he got too excited and mixed up his countries in the end. XDDD

I so hope they come back.

And let me close this post with another pic of the painfully shy Jonghyun. :)
