Well, not much has been going on this week, mostly just stayed home and stayed warm, but today I submitted my resume to my daughter's school for the secretarial opening that they have.  I'm hoping I get it, as it will mean extra money to pay bills and do stuff on.  Keep me in your thoughts!

Chris had to work early this morning, waking me up at the ungodly hour of 7am.  I used to be a morning person, now I'm happy if I get up at 9am.  After he left, I puttered around here on LJ finding the link for the web movie Star Trek: Of Gods and Men.  It's just the first act, but very well done!  No spoilers, but definitely worth checking out if ( Read more... )

Chris has spent most of the morning on the phone with Texas, gathering information about his son. Max is going to be ok. Typhus and West Nile Virus have been ruled out. All other tests have come back negative. Max is responding to Doxycycline and has not had a fever for 48 hours. If he does not have a fever in the next 24 hours, Max can go ( Read more... )
