Chris had to work early this morning, waking me up at the ungodly hour of 7am. I used to be a morning person, now I'm happy if I get up at 9am. After he left, I puttered around here on LJ finding the link for the web movie Star Trek: Of Gods and Men. It's just the first act, but very well done! No spoilers, but definitely worth checking out if you like Star Trek at all.
As an early Christmas present, Chris' brother Jeff got us World of Warcraft and the expansion pack, The Burning Crusade. We've been playing it a bit and both have level 26 characters, so far enjoying it. I wanted to know some of the history of the game, so I started picking up the Manga and the novels. Didn't care for the Warcraft Sunwell Trilogy Manga, but so far I am enjoying
kradical's Cycle of Hatred, even though I am confused by who Lady Proudmore is. One has to wonder if he actually plays WoW, since he seems to nail Thrall's character so well as to how he is in game. Up next is Christie Golden's Rise of the Horde, which I am looking forward to.
Heard about a job opportunity at my daughter's school, so off to dust off the old resume and see about getting it in there for consideration! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
