Living room painting
I have the day off for Columbus Day. Last week I decided that now would be a good time to paint the living room, while rfunk's books and movies are still in boxes. We are moving slow, as we are wont to do, but that's okay. The corner molding in the door way was cracked so we decided to replace it. This necessitated a trip to Lowe's for new molding, and the purchase of a miter saw to cut it. Laser-guided even! Yay!
We took time off Saturday night for a fun and much-needed visit from my friend E, who I haven't seen in ages.
Today I'm finishing up painting the trim. This will end up being a two-weekend project, but I'm okay with that. I can sit on the couch, and that's all I really need. rfunk did make some noise about wanting to get his big computer monitor working so we can watch the pre-season Battlestar Galactica episode his computer downloaded for him, though.
