The inspections yesterday went well, I thought. Except that both the home inspector and the well/septic inspector were late. I knew they would get lost. MapQuest puts the property as south of I-70. I told the companies it was north of I-70, but did the inspectors listen? NO! Stupid MapQuest ( Read more... )

and on Sunday we might go to an Asian Festival. I'll bring down my saris and see if I can convince _lillassea_ to dress Indian with me.

Dude... I am so excited about your room. It's right downtown at a really nice place, like 2 blocks from the mall! We can walk to everything! (Might need umbrellas, though.) It will SO be downtown weekend! Rock! I can't wait.

About septic tanks: find out when it was last drained. Find out how often it usually needs to be drained. Find out it's size. Maybe the current owner can tell you.

I let my septic tank go too long because I was inexperienced and didn't know better. It damaged my drain field and the repairs are gonna be a pain in the butt.
