Quick post about some of my favourite credit titles from movies and shows…and why. Movie titles are pretty much like small features in front of a feature. They can quickly and amazingly communicate a movie’s feel and pace, while providing interesting usages of typography.

I saw Exit Through The Gift Shop, which was awesome. It was a good mix of humour, and an inside look at the street art movement, and the inevitable clashing- clamour awkward stuff, that happens when things that start as counter cultures, start smashing into the art world. Insanely pretty movie from a tech perspective. Very predictable, but entertaining. Very fun to watch with an audience. I wouldn't want to watch this in 3d again tho, as it hurt my eyes quite a bit ( Read more... )

After some consideration, I will say: yes I enjoyed it. Its well shot, well edited and the performances are pretty charming. I don't think its academy award best picture material, but its a rather good movie.

And all the suitcase packing scenes and advice, makes me want to go away again soon.

I find it neat that most of this movie is actually based on Cal-tech.

And now I have some INSANELY BORING work to do, for some corporate people. Guh.

How do you feel about studios using big name actors for animated voices rather than hiring Animation voice actors?

I'm adapting a design for awards stuff...can you tell? :)

Also if you can help me find the reason for my constant tiredness lately, I will hug you. Its weird. Maybe I just want fall to come? Dunno.

Was fun! True the plot / dialog / development is terrible, but hey, all I expected was robots kicking one another's asses...ergo, satisfied. Also I didn't really find the Michael Bay vision twirly camera too annoying, just sorta funny in some shots. Its like B-Cinema with a big budget backing...in 20 years it'll probably be on a midnight madness
