Poll Gas Smell

It's over 70°F outside today. Just a reminder of today's date: Today is January 6. Winter started just two weeks ago, on December 21, yet today feels like the end of March. Alison went running in shorts and a tee shirt this afternoon. All our windows are wide open. It's fucking JANUARY!!!! This shit is insane. I want a new planet.

Hearing all the people outside shoveling the sidewalks and laughing and having a good time in he snow makes me sort of wish I had to do the same job. While I'm glad I don't have to maintain the building, they all sound like they're having so much fun, and it seems to be a community building experience. It's sunny out. Now I feel guilty about my lazy weekend plans. I will still stay in and watch tv and play video games and read, but I will do so with the windows open instead of closed.

So I'm not playing FFVII every waking second any more. Now I'm watching X-Files. Alison was very anti-show while I was starting the first episode (midway through season 8) but now she's hooked. My brother is coming to NYC for the weekend of the 4th.
