A Cold Day
It's so cold! All I want to do on a Sunday afternoon is sit in my underwear and watch movies, but it's too damn freezing in here for me to do that, so I have to wear pajamas and a shirt and socks. I'm upset.
Last night we went to Lindsay's birthday party in Chelsea and it was fun. We discussed nipple hair and the BDSM brothel that's in her building. I had a good time, though would have preferred not going out in the cold to get there. I'm a wuss.
Friday night Alison and I finally saw Babel. The theater was packed and I had to sit in the second row, which was too close to the screen to really get a good view of the visuals of the film. She went and sat in the aisle toward the back, but I stuck it out. It was a good movie, but I was disappointed. My expectations were higher after seeing Amores Perros and 21 Grams.
I also spent my birthday/Christmas gift cards at Borders and Barnes & Noble, respectively. I got Soylent Green, Legend, Vincent & Theo, and Kansas City from Borders, all for under the $50 gift card amount, and then ordered the Robert Altman Collection from B&N (including M*A*S*H* which I already have and can now get rid of the older copy, Quintet, A Perfect Couple, and A Wedding.) I have a bunch of coupons for Best Buy that expire today, and one for B&N that also goes away today, so this afternoon I think I'm going to use them.
We need to do laundry this afternoon as well, cause Fredo threw up on the bed the other day, and we've been using a sleeping bag as a comforter ever since. Ewwww.
