Damn it took me forever to finish Treason's Harbour, but I wrapped it up last night and I've started The Far Side of the World.  I have a memory like a sieve because I've read all of these at least twice and I still don't remember more than the most general happenings of each book.

Along with reading these real books, I do also read other stuff that takes up most of my reading time: the few ljs I read everyday, the ones I check two or three times a week, the one or two blogs and of course the newspaper when I can bear to look at it.  I also glance at TWOP, but a lot less than I used to.  I hate the way the recaps are done now and I watch so much less current tv.  I do still like the forums, but I spend most of my time there in the general drama forum and the talk show forum (for tds and tcr) because I cannot bear the insane people who tend to take over the regular show threads.  Also, I have my one or two action figure sites, but that is not so much reading as seeing what cool new kitbashes and customs have been posted and whether any new painting tutorials are up.

Finally, I cannot deny it, I do still read fanfiction.  I'm currently on a Farscape kick and knowing that my boy Crais was woefully shortchanged with the decent fic, I was surprised to find a nice collection at the Pit.  Some really good stuff that I will work through over time.  I still remember the hilarious indignation when he was killed off which totally sucked, but at least he went out on a high note before the horror of season 4.

Poor old Farscape.

Must get back to burning these Callan dvds.  Forty dvds = 20 hours of burning, oh lord.
