This week we're discussing "Bounty Hunter," with the lovely Wendy Crewson.
Quotes:
Dewey: "I am not a police officer! I am a *man*!"
Fraser [to disgruntled man on phone]: "No, no, no, Henry, I'm not suggesting that your wife is always right. But in this case, she may well be. Well, yes, I do believe that a 3/16ths rachet-head wrench is exactly what's called for.... Yes, I am Canadian. Thank you kindly."
Kid: "They sit right right there, the criminals?"
Ray: "Yeah, and then we ask them questions. Like, if somebody got whacked, we go, 'You whack that guy?'"
Ray: "Listen to you two. You need professional help."
Fraser: "Psychiatric?"
Ray: "No, cop help."
Frannie: "His name is Harvey 'The Nail' Lopez and he works out of Denver for some mob man."
Ray: "Mob guy."
Frannie: "Man. Guy. *Dude*. You gonna split a hair over this?"
Fun Facts:
As many of you likely know, Wendy Crewson & Paul Gross earlier starred together in the movie Getting Married in Buffalo Jump.
Questions for Discussion:
Do you find Fraser & Janet Morse's relationship realistic?
I thought there was an interesting parallel between the end of this ep and the end of Strange Bedfellows. Both Ray and Fraser have been disappointed in love, and they approach dealing with it similarly, in some ways, and differently, in others.
