I prefered this episode to Strange Bedfellows. As I mentioned when we discussed SB, I just didn't feel I knew enough of RayK to get to attached to any issues he had with Stella, plus it was a bit stalkery at times
( ... )
I really wanted to smack Bob in the head when he interrupted in Fraser's office, his son is clearly lonely let him have something.
But Bob made up for it with his grand line: "Not you, son, her." *g*
I don't know if it would've been good for Fraser. Granted, there are few people on this earth, who need to get laid more desperately than Fraser does (if any), but Janet leaves him in the end. So maybe this would've broken his heart even more. But on the other hand, he really needed to get laid. So, I'm pretty undecided whether it was good that Fraser Sr. interrupted them.
While I see your point, I must respectfully disagree. Our Fraser is defintely not a casual sex kind of man. He felt a real emotional connection with Janet, and if something had happened between them, it might have been beneficial for him in the short term, but his already fragile heart could not have borne it when Janet left him later. Hid dad did him a favor.
