I just bought a super cool sewing machine! YAY! Clothes will magically fit me now!

I've also had a rough week. I can't help but want to smash my head in a door and kick people in the shins.

plus: I just found a knitting pattern for Day of the Dead dolls. Pretty cool.

To update you on the intarsia piece, I have unraveled and started to re-knit it with bigger needles. I only have so many pairs and because it's so late, I can't go get another pair, the pair I need, so I'm using ones that make the gage slightly smaller than the book suggests, but it will work MUCH more nicely than the original piece I was knitting ( Read more... )

I'm knitting my first piece with intarsia! for those fools who don't knit and are obviously below me, intarsia is when you use different colors of yarn to make a pretty picture in your work!
