OH HELL YES!
So after I gush and gush about my city and my teams, the O's go out and make a statement. I was listening to the game at work on my headphones (Thank you, MLB Gameday Audio), and when Payton hit the grand slam, I nearly jumped out of my seat. I was able to hold myself to just fist pumping, but I think I momentarily frightened the intern sitting next to me. lol. Couldn't help it. Even just listening to the game, I could hear the Sox fans at Camden Yards pissing off the O's fans. But the O's fans were jawing right back and being raucus as hell. Whenever the "Let's go Red Sox!" chants started, they were immediately drowned out by, "Let's Go O's!" chants. It made me smile. I felt like I was there in spirit. I could feel the tension.
Now, if only the offense could do this more often.. And how in the hell are the Tampon Bay Rays (Thanks, Dad. lol) in first place?!
