In need of some serious good karma/energy/whatsit
The situation: Three of my best possibilities for homes for Pro while I'm at Duke have fallen through. And when I say fallen through, I mean that I've spent $$$/time to make a DVD for Michigan lady and then never heard from her again, spent time showing him to friends of the girl from Concord who called me the night before her visit and canceled (actually, her MOM called - I don't think the idea was ever okay with her parents) and yesterday after much frustration and gas money with taking Pro to Jennie's and waiting for two hours, my best option for a person just didn't show and no answer on his phone. I'm ready to shoot someone.
Pro needs a home by July 31st (when I've given notice at his current barn). Not only that, I now have to drive the 40min after work each day from Durham because the girl who was helping me out and taking care of him left him with no water and a dirty stall on Friday. And by no water I mean none in his stall, none in his pasture trough. NOT okay.
This is going to put me over the edge.
