Part 1. 11:30am. Trying to get Virgil to nap. It feels like every free weekend I have to relearn that we have to get out of the house ASAP or we won't get out. Nothing is packed. Twenty-nine hours until we leave for the airport.
This is the first trip where I have to pack boatloads of medicine. I have a doctors note to go with them. In theory TSA says it'll all be fin if I declare them but...... It's worrisome. Almost all the meds are non-prescription.

Work was good. Last night I realized how much I was craving a chance to escape all the responsibilities and pressures.
Unfortunately, things weren't so good at home. I came home to a Virgil who was intensely needy and very red faced, despite Brian benadryling him around 5. I didn't sleep great last night due to Virgil reacting to something. ( Read more... )

Virgil's still super allergic to dairy. Yesterday, Galen drank the last of the kefir which sent Perry into hysterics. Brian said, "mommy will buy more.". Mommy said, "No. No more dairy until Virgil can have it."

We are now more than 3hours into bedtime battle. The only silver lining is on my last trip downstairs I saw the stove top light was on. I'd left the broth cooking.
Thank goodness sometime rosecame over. It allowed me to do dishes and cook. She and her husband took the kids out in the snow to play wile I made lunch. Of course I didn't get to play.
