We went mini golfing in the rain. The clerk thought we were nuts. She kept trying to give us a rain check and I kept saying we'd play. Perry came in two under par! My score was abysmal. Busy week. Friday I took Virgil to swim lessons. We got there with no time to spare so I tried to rush things and he freaked out and we spent the entire lesson sitting on the edge nursing. Whatever. He loves the water and next time I'll remember not to skip steps. And to try to get there in time to feed him first, too!

mallebabble came down and we took the boys to the National Gallery of Art to see Michaelangelo's David-Apollo. Much smaller and different from his David but still cool. Since he didn't finish it, you can see he chisel marks. It makes it look like he purposely carved sweat glands into it.

I had dairy. Virgil is constipated, manic, overtired, can't sleep, bites me instead of nursing. Yanks my hair HARD in the ergo. It's just tears and screaming coupled with manic laughter and screaming. Rinse and repeat. Blech.

Virgil woke every two hours to nurse it seemed. (yeah i let him eat apple). At 4am he was just rolly squirmy boy. Friday night my dad slept over. That was nice. Perry went to a friend's for the night so Galen got lots of attention. Sat we did the old homesites walk. Lots of fun. My dad made it. Virgil has been hot gassy and rashy. I've given up gluten again and it seems to be helping. Darn.
I want him to feel good but going gluten free on vacation in the south is a challenge.
Mil has been wonderful about accommodating.
