Stress + Epic Disappointment = Failure to be Productive

Dec 06, 2010 21:42

It's simple math really, children. One negative state + another negative state = badness all around.
Stress: I wonder if the internet ever gets so sick and tired of hearing adolescents moan and groan about their school work that it throws a temper-tantrum and shuts down for a whole week or something.

Because I would find that as a completely valid reasons to cause a black out.

Let me put this in perspective and tell a story:

Once upon a time, there was a boy. His name was Grassy. And Grassy was a smart boy but he wasn't at the very top. He was somewhere in the middle of the top. But Grassy is an ambitious person. He has many dreams and wants to accomplish a lot in his life. However, contradicting himself, Grassy has a very low motivational ethic. And so, his progress takes him no where. Sometimes, there is no progress. And because he gets no where, he blames himself and his life is thrown into a hot boiling pot of social, mental and emotional turmoil.

It's a vicious cycle, really. I send my condolences to poor, poor Grassy.

The end.

Wonderful story, yeah? I came up with that in five seconds, like. I could totally be an author.

So, um, yeah. Life sucks/is awesome right now. Sucks because there is so much stress and is awesome because I have a strange feeling that it's going to get worse in the future, therefore, now is awesome (I don't know whether I want the latter statement to be true or false).

On a random note, how gorgeous are these two?

It's a shame that the couldn't get along much, later in real life. But really, Gale Harold is teh sexiness...

And these two...the blatant homoeroticism that the writers in this series show via Bradley and Colin is very frustrating to a fangirl.

Which brings me to my next point: Epic disappointment.

So Merlin Season 3 is over. And while I enjoyed all the fanservice they dished out, I'm specifically disappointed about the fact that it is not going to come back until 2012. WHY? Dr. Who.

A justifiable reason, but still; something must be said for this unjust tragedy/blasphemy.

But this leads to the last point: lack of productiveness. It's a problem really.

On the bright side, I'm considering watching Queer as Folk regularly. :D

And all is right in the Multiverse.
