The day after our snowstorm, Marc and I went out to enjoy our impromptu day off of work.  We took Nadezda out for a drive through the neighborhood, and went for a walk, including playing on a local playground.  As usual, I couldn’t enjoy myself without taking some photos of the day.  Enjoy!

That was the most scary and yet exhilarating thing I have ever done in my life.

I will hopefully be adding this to my arsenal this weekend.

It will almost triple the distance at which I can shoot, and as a fixed-aperture lens, it is very fast, but the thick glass needed for such optics will also add 3lbs of weight to my camera bag, which I am *not* looking forward to.

Holy crap. My TWO DAY OLD ART PROJECT is now the featured photography blog on wordpress.

Clearly, the longer I am away from Hampshire, the more my pretentiousness comes out.

It's funny, because usually the opposite happens to Hampshire students and alums.

There is mud and dog shit and dirt and soot all over me, but damn did I get some good photos today.
