Stocking up someone's kitchen when they get home from a trip
This can be as simple or as extravagant as you want it to be and it's a nice thing to do for just about anyone. Let's say you're house sitting for a friend, or maybe just getting their mail, or watering their plants. If they've been gone for more than 3 days, it's likely that there won't be much in the way of food in their house. I always do this when I'm house sitting. I'll get there later. But it's always nice to come home to fresh bread, milk, eggs, and maybe juice. At least they have food for breakfast. Plus, it's a great treat coming home to realize you don't need to run out to find nourishment.
I was house sitting for a woman I worked with in college. They were gone for two weeks during Christmas and New Years. I had pretty much eaten all of the food that they left for me (which they said was fine). To repay them for the use of their food, I bought eggs, cheese, juice, milk, butter, and a couple of small steaks. When they got home they were exhausted and didn't want to run out to the store, especially since they were sort of in the boonies. They were able to make steak and eggs for dinner and I'm not sure what they did after that, but they were able to eat and go to bed when they got home.
Have a Nice Day!
