I kinda sorta wanted to check my weight today... then decided not to.
I'm afraid of being disappointed or feeling pressure to go faster. Also, I'd like to wait at least a couple of weeks. That way I'll know for sure that I've made good progress... so it'll be like Christmas!
Saturdays are nice because 1.) I'm not available for work. It's my one day of sanctuary, unless I so choose to take a shift, which has only happened once. 2.) I only have to do cardio once! And no weights. Then I'm done. I think running around Green Lake will become my "Saturday thing." I've just eaten breakfast so I'll head out around 10'ish.
AM: ~3 mile run around Green Lake. Pace varies. I don't keep track of such things unless I have it on a digital screen in front of me ;P I've never had to slow down and walk, though.
Meal 1: 1/3 cup oatmeal, 2 tbs flaxseed meal, 1 tbs agave, 4 eggwhites
PWO: Banana, 1 scoop Biochem vanilla protein powder blended with ice and water
Meal 2: Chicken breast, 1 cup broccoli, 3/4 cup brown rice
Meal 3: Can of tuna, 1 apple, 2 apricots, 1 cup broccoli
Meal 4: 4 oz turkey, 1 cup green beans
Meal 5: Skinni Spaghetti (from
Netrition.com) with 1/2 cup tomato sauce, spices and 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese (I like LOTS =3 )
My caloric count is a little low because I added some tomato sauce and parmesan to my eggwhites in Meal 1 and will probably add 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa to PWO... but I'm too lazy to measure/count such things.

Gabe is leaving on a business trip all next week ;_; I'll miss him dearly. I'm looking forward to spending time with my family, though. As mentioned, I have barely any work coming up, so I'll be leaving Wedensday midmorning and coming back Friday afternoon. For my workouts, I'll bring my weights (pairs of 8, 10 and 15 lbs) and run/power walk around the local elementary school for cardio. Yes I know "power walk" sounds dorky!! I'll probably just run to save time and be certain that the intensity is up high enough. I'd only have to put in 45-50 minutes of cardio a day if I run for it all.
Le sigh. My family will respect my wishes to stay on my diet, but it'll still be hard to stick with it. I'll just have to keep my progress so far in mind. I wouldn't want to ruin it for anything!
