nearing the end of week 1

I need some Caska to motivate my lazy ass today. My alarm went off at 6, and after I turned it off I laid my head back down for a second... and the next thing I know it's 7:30. ARGH.

At least the day is mostly wide open. I only have a chiro appointment and a short work meeting. Whee.

*Edit* My day's changing a little. I was invited to go out with a couple of coworkers, so I had a new protein smoothie at work before leaving... and I'm taking a protein bar on my little outing. Normally I wouldn't have these "fake foods" but oh well. As long as my macros are about where they should be.

Shopping was so much FUN. I hardly ever go out with my fellow ladies.

I'm noticing so much change already. I can hardly believe my eyes o_o

Usually it takes me forever to shop for jeans, and 90% of the time I don't find anything that fits. But... miracle of miracles... On my first trip to the dressing room, I took in 3 pairs of jeans... and ended up buying one. They fit so nicely! A little snug, but I'll shrink into them, especially after they're washed. They still fit very nicely at the moment so I can wear them any time ^_^ I also found a gorgeous halter dress that I could wear with just heels (carefully! it's short) or with my awesome new jeans. It was a splurge... I spent $75 on the jeans and $12.50 on the dress but it was well worth it. Even Gabe was impressed.

Ah. Such a good day.
