I have a question for all of the audio geeks out there:
At work, we've been recording interviews on digital audio recorders, then I upload as an audio file. For one interview, they used an old analog tape deck because they couldn't find the recorder. To get it as an audio file, I just set up a tape deck and recorded the session onto the digital recorder, than uploaded. Of course, it's incredibly noisy, and it's hard to hear the interviewee.
I used Audacity's noise reducer, but that just made it more difficult to hear, even taking out the lowest possible level of noise. Any suggestions? I need something that's free, too. =)
