Anybody in the neighborhood able to lend me a car on Monday night, say from 7pm to 11pm?

I want to go to Melrose to visit a friend and getting there via public transit is a PITA.  A do-able PITA, but one I'd like to avoid if possible.

Would anybody local like our old tv? It's a perfectly functional 12.5"x 17" CRT. It's been sitting on the floor of our dining room since...June? July? We need it to somewhere else, please.

My mom is here right now, which means that she and I are spending all kinds of time running around doing things in the city I seem to need the excuse of an out-of-town guest to get done. The weekend deserves a long post (or several, perhaps,) at some point, but that will have to wait a little while since my days are too full to sit down and write ( Read more... )
