i haven't squeed over Doctor Who in ages, but the sister and i just had a mini-marathon of the eps we missed, and i think it's time for a little catching up.

the first thing i want to say is that i loved "the unicorn and the wasp," also known as "the agatha christie episode." it was fun and FUNNY and fulfilling in a lot of ways.

( the second thing i want to say is that i motherfucking love stephen moffat. much spoilering is done herein. )

from friendsfriends: good FMA genfic. comes with essay about the tringham brothers, and the "abusive" nature of the elder brother specifically.

i liked it, even if i technically haven't seen FullMetal Alchemist. i've had to write a little about it though, and i'm sure this is a title i'd like to have the time to watch someday.
