Eek it was sooo hot this weekend!  It was in the 90's all three days (fri sat sun).  I about melted.  Our new place doesn't have A/C.  What the frick?  Come on now people of the 90's, when you built this place the summers were HOT, just like they are every year!  Portland is at the bottom of a Valley, it is surounded by mountains on 3 sides.  ( Read more... )

The summer has flown by.  Back in June my mom flew out for a week.  I could only afford to take a day off, so i planned it around a weekend and she was here thur-thur.  I took her up to Temecula for a day of wine tasting, then to Disneyland for her birthday/mother's day.  We spent a day at the beach (on Coronado), then she was on her own.  I think ( Read more... )
